Let me start with a confession. I don’t know the best solution for every situation in life. I mean, come on, in order to know the best possible course of action one would have to know every possible variable in a universe of randomness. I don’t believe in omniscience.
This is more or less an open letter to and from myself—that wiser version of me that seems to know in hindsight what should have been said and done. What I believe in is Reason, and what I offer here is a variety of thoughts on a philosophy of life that I’ve pieced together to allow me to remain in control of how I aim to respond to the unexpected.
